WoW trouble in Spain?

Posted in Uncategorized by jamie on the June 29th, 2006

Spain has apparently outlawed P2P alltogheter getting great consequences for WoW players. No more patches. There wont be a easy solution for this. Read more on Slashdot. The original link is found here.

“Except with ISPs on the hook, I suspect that 100% of P2P traffic will be blocked (at least 100% of identifiable P2P traffic). So it’s not a question of whether you’re afraid of getting sued by Blizzard: The patch simply won’t come down the pipe.”
Tough luck for Spanish gamers.

Damn greedy Spanish laws, they are just as useless as the have always been.Whats the point now in outlawing P2P in Spain?
I am a Spaniarda and i know the answer:Because USA laws are getting against P2P as well,so Spanish ridiculous and non-thinking government has to prove is allied with that policy and flatter USA politics by doing this.
Its very sad,now not even WOW can be used in Spain…and politics down there must be very happy with his pockets full of dirty money from Spanish workers who have no rights to choose what they want…thats it.
