How to quit WoW
- Stop logging in – even if it is just for chatting to people.
- Before quitting WoW, make sure you have your friends you need to keep in touch with on MSN/ICQ/email so you dont have to login to talk to them.
- Find alternative hobbies to keep your mind of WoW.
- Stop socialising with your old friends that are still playing WoW – if just for the moment.
- Do not talk about WoW with your friends, change the subject.
- Tell everyone you’re quitting WoW including friends, guildmates, parents, girl/boy-friends etc.
- Break your daily routine, when you need to play WoW, take a walk or call a friend. Watch a movie instead.
- Contact a psychiatrist or a counsoler for addictive behavior. There are several institutions for gaming and internet addiction.
