Be aware when you buy wow gold!
There are people out there to get you. We are getting reports every day about people that bought gold from gmbar, brogame and itemrate.
Buy your gold cheap from team vip or IGE instead. It’s that simple. Its not cheap because they have the lowest prices. It’s cheap because they actually deliver (most of the time anyway).
If you are still looking for cheap gold, there is also MMO Street.com. They have a solid track record and offer far better prices than IGE or TEAM VIP.

I totally DISAGREE. What is it, you work for them or something?
I have tried 4 times now to buy gold from IGE for WOW and every time I end up canceling the order out of frustration. They string you along for 10 days saying tomorrow .. tomorrow .. tomorrow. SO sorry for the inconvience but we currently are out of stock. 13days was the longest I waited and no gold.
on April 8th, 2007 at 1:06 am
Itemrate accepted my payment but never sent the gold. It has been over a week and I do believe I have been ripped off. I contacted their webchat c.s and the only response I got was…. It was sent 2 days ago. Whatever! I get mail ingame all day long with no issues, and now this. I am never buying from anyone other than Team-vip. At least when I contacted them regarding my order they were reassuring and filled it after a week…I don’t mind the wait, as long as I know it’s coming.
on April 10th, 2007 at 5:51 pm
I have bought around 5000g gold from brogame, some of it got delayed with a few days but they always delivered.
After reading all of this brogame is not trustworthy crap I decided to order from IGE…. 8 days later and no gold.. Only reply from their live chat is “We’re currently restocking on your server, you will have your gold within 24-48 hours”
on April 25th, 2007 at 9:29 pm
i got cheated by teamvip. did partial delivery then nothing. kept stringing me along with the same re-stocking in 12-24 hours line. i finally filed a paypal dispute which was worse than useless. paypal is full of shit, they said because it was a virtual transaction they could do nothing so no partial refund.
i lost less than usd30 so count myself fortunate. avoid these scumsucking china/hongkong bastards and avoid paypal.
write to blizzard and complain that the cost for epic mounts is way out of whack with what a normal player can earn when they reach 70.
on April 27th, 2007 at 6:15 am
Beware of IGE. The last two times I ordered gold I received a partial delivery. BUT, they emailed me saying my order was complete. Each time I contact customer service they say they need 4 hours to investigate and to check back then. Each time I have to explain the entire situation and waste 30 minutes of time. This has been going on for a day…still not balance of my delivery.
The fact that this has happened 2 consecutive times make me think it is intentional on the company’s part. Since IGE does has offices in the U.S. I wonder if they should be reported.
Have others had this experience?
on April 30th, 2007 at 1:04 pm
I tried brogame.com and totally got ripped off. They notified me they sent it but I never received anything. Their CS just kept saying “Sorry we send gold already”. Finally after opening a dispute with Paypal they contacted me and said if I closed the dispute against them they would resend. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and canceled. Still nothing. The next CS I spoke with from brogame.com had the marbles to tell me I was probably scamming them.
on May 3rd, 2007 at 4:11 am
After reading all the above comments I was concerend when I wanted to buy gold. Searched everywhere I could to find out who scams and who is reliable. I eventualy decided on http://www.gamegoods.com and igolg.com looks pretty solid too(i dont know)
I ordered 1000G and was afraid of getting scammed because my server is not popular and they had stock. To my surprize I got my gold by the next morning in my mail.
The one drawback is that communication with them is non existant in my experience. But I’m just glad to have my gold
GJ gamegoods
Just my input… ;D
on May 3rd, 2007 at 9:09 am
“Please hold on while I look into this. This may take a few minutes” Sound familiar? IGE/Team VIP (they appear to be the same company) gives this response as they ‘investigate’ your missing order. Don’t worry though, they already have the money from Paypal, I just don’t have my gold.
Oooops, we got disconnected from live chat, guess I’ll have to start the whole explanation process all over again, “please hold on while I ….”
on May 9th, 2007 at 5:41 am
IGE took my money 12 days ago and evry time i get to a service agent, they assured me the gold would be delivered in 24-48 hours. i filed a complaint with Paypal a few days ago and now paypal says that IGE insists it has delivered the gold. I still haven’t reeived it and the service agent insists i drop the dispute before they will deliver.
NEVER use these people. IGE sucks.
on May 13th, 2007 at 7:49 am
Damn, wish I would have known that about IGE sooner, I just bought 200g and they did a partial delivery of 34g. Its been 24 hours so far. I have never had this problem in the past with them. What I find funny is that you cant sell them any gold right now for Warcraft, just FFXI and Lineage. Maybe if they were to BUY some gold from farmers then they would have some to SELL. I just dont understand how they say they have the gold to sell but when you make the purchase you have to wait because there is a que of other people ahead of you….. Delivery should take no longer than 1 hour. How many people do they have working for them to deliver gold? 1 person maybe?
on May 14th, 2007 at 10:05 pm
Concerning IGE, I bought from them exclusively when I first played FFXI. No delivery or quantity problems what so ever. When I went to WOW, I did the same, and never once had a delay. I’ve currently returned back to FFXI, and figured I’d buy the smallest amount possible to get started over. I am now on day 17 of waiting for any kind of delivery. I stupidly brought from MySuperSales 4 days into my fiasco with IGE, and after I ordered, I found that they’re pretty much IGE with a different name. Needless to say, I’ve not recieved anything from either site. Many many Livehelp discussions have fed me the typical 24-48 hours routine, though I was hopeful one day when the rep wasn’t a macro pushing moron, and told me I should have it in the next 4-6 hours. That turned out to be a lie too, as I’m 3 days past THAT. Livehelp is a joke, and I’m sincerely scared to get into it with someone via phone, because I’m sure I’d get some non-english speaking person. I’d ask for a refund, but hell, at this point it would take me 2 more weeks to get that. I’ve not gotten a straight answer from anyone who works from IGE, and I think that’s what eats at me the most. I understand how the job works and I understand delays can happen, but it’s the outright bullshit and lies I get that have pushed me over the edge with them. In the end, I will not buy from IGE or any of it’s affiliates again. For any game, or for any reason.
on May 18th, 2007 at 9:56 pm
I’ve bought over 200 platinum (about $170 worth) from Brogame since last year and they delivered immediately. I purchased 500g from Brogame again yesterday. They said it would take about 8 hours. 32 hours later I contacted them and they say they’re still working on the order and will try to have it to me in a few hours.
I have trust for Brogame simply because they delivered promptly before On EQII.
One thing I know from paypal is that if you open a dispute concerning virtual goods and you are the BUYER. You should win the dispute.
I know this because I used to sell gold for Runescape (Solo) and when I would get scammed by other players opening a dispute after gold was delivered, I would lose my money. I called Paypal on this and because of the fact that they have no way to prove that the virtual item was delivered, the buyer is always the protected person. ALWAYS OPEN A DISPUTE WITH PAYPAL if you dont receive the game currency.
I guarantee that if I dont get this money by monday, a dispute will be opened and I’ll have my money back by next week.
Try it. You might be surprised. Especially if you have a high number of dollars invested in that payment.
on May 21st, 2007 at 10:47 am
After 3 weeks of waiting for delivery from IGE, I finally contacted them and canceled the order. The ONLY positive I can say about them is that they did refund my money within an hour.
IGE and all of it’s subsidiaries have lost it, and I recommend to everyone to avoid them like the plague.
on May 30th, 2007 at 7:07 am
wowgoldshopping.com is completely unreliable as a gold seller avoid them at all costs unless you like throwing your money away. It recently changed owners and jacked their prices. Ordered 200g on May 24th. Received nothing by the 26th. Wasn’t able to contact them until I took out a PayPal dispute and THAT got their attention. Said that if I dropped the dispute they would deliver. They did within hours - but shorted me 45g. Contacted them again and was told that their records show it was delivered in full. They said they would “investigate” and I would received an email within 12 hours. It’s 3 days later and nothing. I know I’ll never see the full amount. Companies like this don’t care about their buyers. They are in it for quick cash and if they screw you there is nothing you can do about it. I’ve paid the price for trying to do things the easy way and I will never do it again. I’ll earn my game gold the legitimate way.
on May 31st, 2007 at 4:11 am
Do NOT buy from Itemrate.com!
I have done business with these people for over six months now with no problem. Whenever I placed my order, I would recieve it in full no later than 24 hours later. I was happy. Their prices were also reasonable. With my last few purchases I noticed they started taking longer to deliever my gold, taking anywhere from a few days to almost a WEEK to fill my order. Their “live customer service” is a joke. If you should be so lucky to get a hold of someone, they are more likely to tell you “Wait 24 hours, ok?” than actualy help you.
I’ve waited over a week and still no signs of my order at all. I told them that if I did not recieve my order in the additional 24 hours I would try to go about recieving my gold through paypal unless they wanted to refund my money. The agent seemed more focused on trying to make me wait another day, promising me I would recieve my gold, but I’m not accepting that. Despute through paypal is still active. If I should recieve my gold before the time is up, I will repost here, but the chances are it will run the full 20 days.
I don’t know what is wrong with itemrate.com but I warn buyers to stay FAR AWAY from them!!!!
on June 3rd, 2007 at 2:56 pm
Bought 8k of gold for WOW from http://www.mymmoshop.com. They delivered 1121 within ten minutes, then nothing. I waited 24 hours before contacting their customer support team who informed me that they were having problems with the supply on my server. Fair enough I thought, so I continued to wait. Three days after this and still nothing despite my daily chats with their 24/7 support team, who were very reassuring etc. After 5 days I had had enough and opened a dispute with Paypal. Mymmoshop said that they would give me a partial refund, IF I closed the dispute with paypal. Obviously I wasn’t going to do this as then I wouldn’t have had a leg to stand on. HOW WRONG WAS I. After escalating this dispute to a claim with Paypal they found in the sellers favour????? I then contacted Paypals customer support team who informed me that the claim hadn’t even been investigated, I was horrified. They went on to say that the small print in their user agreement states that they will basically do nothing when the disputed transaction involves virtual goods!!!!! Be warned people, Paypal offer protection to these bastards, not us!
on June 8th, 2007 at 11:09 pm
I also had no luck with IGE. Do not use them, they only deliver part of your order then nothing. When I asked for a refund they strung me along for weeks and weeks. Then they lied and said they had delivered the rest. This company is a fraud. DO NOT USE IGE you will regret it. They finally refunded me after I complained to PayPal.
on June 11th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
Follow up to my case with Itemrate.com.
I had the case opened with paypal for no longer than a day before I escalated it. Basicly, the seller was trying to accuse me of lying, claiming they sent my gold several time and I should close this despute. I made two responces to it and then handed it over to paypal. It’s been less than two weeks after than and paypal decided in my favor. I’m currently awaiting the full refund of my money.
The one thing however I made sure to do was state this was a product, not gold. Seeing how it is an electronic purchase, paypal probably wouldn’t have refunded my money otherwise. But with careful use of words, I made it sound like it was a product the seller simply did not want to deliver. Perhaps this might be of some use to those seeking to get their money back from gold sellers.

Hilarious! This is a follow-up from itemrate.com AFTER my money was refunded via paypal!
Dear Sir or Madam,
This is Thsale Company. Do you remember you have bought xxx gold for > xxx ->
xxx of World of Warcraft on our web site on on xx xx 2007? We
have sent the gold to you, but the payment has been reversed, maybe there are
some problems on your papal account, you can contact with paypal to check it,
then cancel it. If you have any question, you can contact our live chat. or you
could contact our professional operator on MSN (c_service@hotmail.com )

HILARIOUS! Mistake indeed! Even after they’re in the wrong they act like paypal and myself are in the wrong and they’re still trying to get the money they tried ripping off from me back.
**** ITEMRATE.COM: O Buyer: 1 ****
on June 13th, 2007 at 4:27 pm
Well i’ll tell you stay away from IGE . Currently they are taking money and not making deliveries. When asked for a refund they tell you it has to now be handled by their accounting staff (Yea right) with no determined time for the refund. They never did things like this. I always got what i ordered and when there was a problem i was refunded within minutes. Something is going on there and i can’t find any info about what it might be. Their Live Help now takes up to 2 1/2 hours to get through to anyone (used to be within minutes) So it tells you the volume of people complaining to them.
on June 16th, 2007 at 3:27 pm
I have use Many sites . http://www.wowmine.com Seems to be a Good one > However i used gamegoods the other day and i still have not recieved the money . I keep ringin and they say they have not enough gold on the server , I have Waited 3 days now and i dont think You should use this site
on June 21st, 2007 at 6:06 am
Don’t use http://www.MyMMOShop.com. I ordered some gold.. and in line with their 2 hour delivery gaurantee (which they failed to meet), I contacted their live help and arranged for the gaurantee to be honored. This all went smoothly. Today I got up and there was a cancellation notice in the mail. They refunded the money rather than honor their gaurantee. So.. they are just fishing for sales they can’t fill. I won’t do business with a company that does such dispicable practices.
on June 21st, 2007 at 5:48 pm
Don’t buy from http://www.Mymmoshop. I recently tried to order some FFXI gil. I kept on being strung along. I contected them and I was constantly told.. yes, in a few days.. In a few days.. about 2 weeks later. When the prices of gil has risen. Instead of honor the price purchased. They refunded my money, so I would have to buy at the new price they posted. Exactly as stated, they are fishing for sale. Mymmoshop is affiliated with IGE.com. It’s a good thing I’ve always used http://www.Itemgarden.com and never had a problem. they won’t sell you any more than they actually have. and have always delievered within the hour. they don’t take your money and say.. in a few days.. in a few days..
on June 25th, 2007 at 6:03 am
I just placed an order with IGE after starting a WoW account recently. I decided to go with IGE due to previous fast experiences with EQ 1. After reading all these messages I’m now getting rather nervous… I don’t believe they’re intentionally screwing their customers, however they really should update their website to include the proper amount of gold on each server as they used to do when EQ was their main source of income. I’ll wait for my order to roll through and if it comes then great if not I’ll file a complaint with PayPal regardless of whether there’s any hope of it going through, and I’ll avoid buying gold straight up ever again.
on June 25th, 2007 at 9:20 pm
I’ve recently had the same experience with IGE and their failure to make good on the order I placed. They used to be really reliable and prompt in the past, but now there’s some shady business going on with them. I had placed 2 orders with them for gil and have yet to receive it. It’s already been a week and a half since then. To top it off, their LiveHelp has been down. Very convenient. I’ve pretty much had it with their shoddy service and will never order from them again.
on June 28th, 2007 at 1:03 pm
ordered from IGE over 10 times and never had a problem until now, always got the gil within minutes.
2 days now and still no gil.
4 live chat sessions full of lies and misdirection. I used to trust them but no more.
will be filing a complaint with Paypal and will let you know the resolution,
on July 4th, 2007 at 6:07 pm
I wish I’d seen these posts before ordering 20 EQII Plat from ItemRate 2 days ago!!
Same story, loads of smoke an mirrors in the chat, just wait a bit longer…….. Tomorrow I give them the ultimatum, no more chatter, deliver the plat or I start spamming PayPal. If enough people complain then they will lose their account.
on July 5th, 2007 at 7:26 am
they sent me an e-mail saying they tried to deliver to me at 6:00 AM (after 5 days), when most people, including me, are asleep.
needless to say I didn’t get it.
contacted me 2 days later at 1:00 AM and i told them i couldn’t get to Jeuno for 2 hours, and they said OK, see you then.
never showed.
Been to busy to deal with paypal until today and finally submitted resolution / complaint form.
e-mailed them and they said go on live chat immediately and let them know i was on-line so they could resolve this issue.
on live chat they said i was still in the queue and i asked how i could be in the queue if they just had my gil ready for delivery.
more smoke and mirrors with bogus apologies.
flee from these people. They used to be great and dependable, and now they just lie and obfuscate and stall, while attempting (poorly) to deliver your gil.
If the site said the gil was out of stock (like it did in the past) I could understand, but it has been eight days, no gil for me, and the site implies they have plenty of gil in stock.
on July 5th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
Itemrate.com is still trying to get the money I “owe” them back. Every day for the past week I get emails from them (usualy in the form of mailer deamons or whatever ) and they all get deleted! Luckily for me, they all end up in my junk mail folder.
Once again, itemrate.com is NOT the place to do business, no matter WHAT.
on July 5th, 2007 at 1:37 pm
i opened a dispute resolution through paypal.
they act as an un-involved go-between to resolve disputes between the parties.
if a dispute cannot / will not be resloved it becomes escalated to the next level and Paypal step in, investigate and issue a ruling (from what i understand).
IGE didn’t even attempt to negotiate, they immediately escalated it to the next level. no doubt they will bring up the fact they tried a whole 2 times in 9 days, both times in the wee hours of the morning.
i guess 9 days isn’t enough time to deliver gil they claim is in stock.
beware of a company that will not even attempt to resolve an issue, even after 5+ e-mails and at least 4 “live-chat” sessions.
i hope someone invents a way for people to move at the speed of light, the speed at which they should run away from IGE.
also, thanks for the heads up on itemrate and the other lousy gil sellers. i mean its bad enough i “cheat” by buying gil, i don’t want to get screwed in the process
the allakhazam fanbois are cheering at this news
on July 6th, 2007 at 11:05 am
less than 24 hours after the morons at IGE escalated my paypal dipsute to a paypal claim, giving paypal the power to determine the outcome, i was refunded the full amount.
so instead of not lying to me and just working with me for a decent delivery time, or just refund my money, they chose to try and screw me (IMHO) out of my money and cause me grief with an escalated claim.
instead, Paypal saw the truth and i got my money back.
i still havent found another place to buy gil, as the 2 places i have e-mailed with questions didn’t bother to respond to my e-mails. how can i expect 24 / 7 instant gil delivery if you can’t answer a simple e-mail?
at least IGE always returned my e-mail promptly, even though it was filled with lies.

Just bought 500 gold from Swag vault (www.swagvault.com) and 100 gold from wowmine. Both places delivered in full. Swag Vault took longer (ordered Friday afternoon, got it this morning). wowmine took 24 - 48 hours.
I just want to thank all that posted on this page as it saved me a TON of time and money, because I almost concidered buying from a couple of the places mentioned above.
on July 9th, 2007 at 1:44 pm
ordered 1 million from gamegoldvip and got it within 25 minutes.
they asked me to come to jeuno, but told them I can’t, that is why i ordered 1 million so it could be delivered through in game mail.
they did it and it was no problem at all.
site says no phone call nonsense when you order under $80 worth.
so far so good.
on July 12th, 2007 at 7:34 pm
ordered 500 from gamegoods nearly 48 hours ago. No response to multiple emails, no gold.
Starting to look like I got ripped off.
on July 13th, 2007 at 6:32 am
I ordered 600 gold from IGE BEFORE reading all the comments on this site, and after reading this and not seeing my gold after a few days, naturally had that sinking feeling. On the 4th day, I contacted IGE in live chat, and the person was very helpful. She told me that they had sent the order as their confirmation email stated. I told her I hadn’t seen anything yet. She told me they would send gold again. The next morning I log in and there it is. Now, I’m not defending them, and of course, they could have just been hoping that I would never contact them and just take my money, and i realize this. But after being contacted by me, they came through. I wish this was the experience that all of you would have, nothing more frustrating than not getting what you paid for, and if you are like me, you have a family, carrer, ect. and just play the game for a release, you don’t have the time to do all the things in game to make the money you need. Anyway, before this I placed an order with mmoprg exchange and havent seen anything yet. They are next on my list and I will write back with results. Afte reading all these posts, I thought I would also be here damning IGE, but I really can’t say anything bad about them. I wish you all luck.

mymmoshop has raised their gold of 1550 from 74.53 to 97.14 in just 2 days…that’s a RIPOFF!!!! more than 20 dollars more in just 2 DAYS!!!!!!
on July 18th, 2007 at 6:17 pm
DO NOT purchase from mymmoshop. I ordered 200 gold from them 4 days ago, and received nothing. I attempted to talk to their customer service yesterday, and they were incredibly slow, refusing to talk to me like an actual person or directly respond to anything that I said. They also arrogantly informed me that getting a refund was “not the best option right now.” I told them that if I didn’t receive the gold today, I would demand a refund.
So today, I got an email at 12 PM informing me that the gold had been delivered. Four hours later, there was no gold in my mailbox, and there still isn’t now. I tried talking to their CS again, and it’s the same thing. Here’s a sample:
* Enrico A: I do apologize for the long wait. It shows that you ordered 200 gold on Mal’Ganis US::Horde server; is this correct?
Customer: yes
* Enrico A: Allow me to check on this further. Please stay online.
Customer: alright
* Enrico A: I appreciate your patience. Our records show that we have delivered your order 7 hours ago.
Customer: yeah, but as I just told you, I didn’t receive anything
Customer: so maybe one of your employees decided to say that he sent it and didn’t?
Customer: i had to talk to customer service yesterday because it had been 3 days with no contact and no delivery, and then today I get an email saying that the order had been sent and received nothing
Customer: gold takes one hour to send. if they had actually sent it before that email, it would have been in my mailbox in game long ago
Customer: so basically, someone either lied or someone is really confused
Customer: i just checked my mail in game right now. there is still no gold there
Customer: hey, i have been talking to you for 20 minutes. please stop wasting my time and respond
Customer: hello?
Customer: it has been 30 minutes now
Customer: what the hell are you doing
* Enrico A: I do apologize for the long wait time. I was just checking on this. Please send an email to cs@readyclickpay.com, so this can be resolved immediately.
Customer: what are you checking on?
Customer: what did you find out?
Customer: you aren’t communicating with me
Customer: are you actually here to do anything or do I have to send an email to get anything done?
Customer: respond
* Enrico A: I understand your concern. I was just checking on how this issue can be resolved immediately. It would be best if you will send an email to cs@readyclickpay.com. Our team there will be glad to resolve the issue for you in a timely manner.
Yeah, don’t do business with these scumbags.

Hey everyone,
Just thought I would write about my experience with WOWMINE. I placed an order for 500 gold, and there price was more than the going rate compared to others. So I placed the order anyway, 500 g for $40 and some change, thinking to myself, these guys better be great for the prices they are charging. And to my delight, they were. I recieved an email from them about 24 hours in stating that they were restocking and that they would have my delivery as soon as possible, and gave me instructions as to how to go about asking for a refund if I wanted to cancel my order. Now, no one else I have dealt with has ever been so kind as to send an email as to the status of my order. About 24 hours later I recieved my gold and an email staing it had been deklivered, and I am a happy camper. They have a grid on their website that gives estimated delivery times within hours. For my server, the average was between 24 and 48 hours from order. I am thinking that I will use this company exclusively from now on. Yes their prices are more than others, but the hassle of other companies is not worth it. These guys delivered and their correspondence is great. Finally, one of these companies actually delviered on what was promised. A refreshing change from others that don’t keep their word, especially mmorpg exchange. Anyone else here have dealings with WOWMINE?
on July 20th, 2007 at 12:25 am
I’m amazed at seeing all this stuff about IGE, you can definatly tell at one time prior to BC release they were doing extremely well with WoW gold, and since BC release it looks like it has been all down hill for them. Back in late February early March I sold 20,000K worth of gold to IGE and other than every account i had that actually transfered the gold from my possesion to IGE’s character got banned i had no problems with them delivering me the money. Who knows what the heck there doing now but as you can all see they don’t even sell WoW gold at this point which goes to show you prices have took a huge dive or there just straight out not dealing with it because of blizzard.
on July 30th, 2007 at 6:55 am
I used swagvault a few times brfore and had no issues. i tried them again a couple weeks ago they keep saying we sent the order in partial shipments but I have received nothing from them. I have escalated the claim through paypal awaiting to see the outcome.
on August 2nd, 2007 at 12:49 am
I disagree with tom said. i use swagvault.com many times and i always feel satisfied with them.
Price on this site is the lowest, they delivered gold with several batches, what I feel comfortable is they phone or email me when they delivered gold. I received all of my purchase, and I already sent this to their feedback, I think this site is trustful ecough and all their customer representative are so nice, good manner and helpful as well.

Do NOT buy gold from Wowmine.com, Wowspa.com, MMOmaven. Same company. I ordered mine 9 days ago. After recieving nothing in 8 days I went to there live support chat. It said I was #44 in line. So I chose the option to talk to live support as a preorder customer. Wow, surprising , I got right in. They said I would recieve my order soon and then at 2:30 am I got the call that my gold was delivered. I got online right away and I was at the mailbox in UC already. NO new mail, no gold. I stayed online and checked my e-mail. It said to wait 1 hour for the gold. I waited 2 hours at the mailbox and did not go AFK. NO GOLD! I contacted them this morning and they said they delivered it. What a scam! Run from wowmine, they said that likely a GM took it but I was waiting by the mailbox the whole time and never recieved anything. I would only recommend a company that will do face to face transactions. They lost a customer for life that day! DO NOT USE wowmine, wowspa! Just want everyone to be warned.

IGE, ordered 1000 only got 130, then they start with the we sent it, Blizzard must of taken it.
No problem from them in the past, but got scammed this time. Will file disput with PayPal and contact my bank for a refund and fraud complaint.
They CS person told me that they could not send anything right now, to anyone. Bascially sounds like they got lots of farm accounts banned or something.

MKT - file your dispute ASAP.
Since I had at least 10 good transactions with IGE, I wanted to give them a chance. DON’T make the same mistake I did.
the sooner you do it, the sooner you get your money back.

Hey guys, I have about 11,000g alliance side atm on a pvp server. I plan to sell about all my gold because I dont play wow anymore. So if anyone would like to offer money for my gold, I will gladly transfer to your server and do a face2face transfer. Horde or Alliance, it doesn’t matter to me.
So if anyone is in desperate need and DOES NOT want to deal with a chinese farmer, please feel free to contact me at (noblegas54) on aim.

Not as a defence of IGE since i’m not really happy with them right now, but they are a reseller, IE they dont farm anything they buy it and resell it, As it is I’m on 1 week for an order and have had 1 in the past that took a month, but they compensated with an additional 15% total from complaints.
on August 13th, 2007 at 1:11 pm
stumblin I have to disagree with your sentiment.
in the past when they didn’t have gil, it clearly stated “out of stock” on the order buttons, which allowed for an informed decision to purchase.
now they just take your money whether they have gil or not, give you the run-around about when it will be avaible and delivered.
poor business practice.
would you got to Best Buy, purchase something advertised for sale and in stock, and just sit by while they took your cash and THEN told you it wasn’t in stock, and not able to tell you when it WOULD be in stock?
i buy gil becuase i don’t have the time (nor desire) to farm for it, si i usually need it riught when i order it, not a month later.
good thing IGE does not sell anit-venom. “we will call you whenever we choose to confirm the order then deliver it at our convenience. feel free to pass away in the mean time” ^^
i wouldn’t and will no longer deal with IGE in any capacity.

Gamegoods.com sux
it says that it will take 1-12 hours to get the gold, but i have waited 24 hours now. And no gold….
on August 20th, 2007 at 11:26 pm
i have bought gold from Ige on three occasions totaling 6000g for wow and on two occations they delivered pretty much within 12 hours on one occation it taken ten days but eventually delivered, yes it pissed me off but they knew who i was and told me it was on the way. it seems to me that there are no truly reliable sellers out there and you may as well go with a large company with some sort of feed back system/ support system than some random chancer offering very cheep gold. every player knows that when you farm gold yourself it can be hit and miss so why should it be any different for the companys selling it? the only reliable way to get gold is to make it yourself and if you dont want to do that then you have to break your licensing agreement and go to a gold seller which by nature is risky. if it wasent you could buy it from woolworths or wall mart and you cannot so it must be dodgy. ive been lucky but have to except that next time i might not be, if you got your money back then what are you moaning about? and if you had to wait 24 hours so what?
on August 21st, 2007 at 1:37 pm
Hey.
I bought gold from gamegoods.co.uk and it says it will take 1-24 hours.
I have waited around 6 days now…
I mailed them but they never answer my mails.
What shall i do ?
on August 22nd, 2007 at 10:32 am
if you payed with paypal, initiate a complaint resolution.
if you paid with CC call them up and dispute the charge.
most CC’s now seem to have buyer protection in their contracts.
i don’ t know about a check card, but it couldn’t hurt to talk to your bank, saying you paid for services / goods that were never delivered.
good luck

I know this is a site about WoW gold but I wanted to post on an experiance I had with IGE concerning EQ Plat. I placed an order at about 9 am yesterday and by 6pm I had had enough. I spoke with the “live help” (wich i think are robots) about 7 to 8 times as well as sent to emails. I got no answers and no help other than them saying “we are confident we can deliver your order” And when I asked for a refund I was told that “that was not the best option at this time” so without hesitation (sp) I immediatly filed a dispute with paypal and escalated it right to a claim. I was then almost instantly contacted by email from IGE expressing their condolances etc… Anyway long story short I told them to “bite it” and recived my refund.
I then took my business to Redshift Gaming. I ordered my plat and recived it in game in less than 3 mins. So if anyone reading this is wondering where to buy eq plat, go to redshift they speak english and are very very fast.
thanks for letting me rant and good luck to all

I ordered from Warcraftgold.com 2 weeks ago for 600 gold. Never got a penny of it. I contacted their supposedly live “customer service chat” 5 times and sent 2 emails asking for a status update on my gold and each time got a “were currently working to fix the problem” “expect the gold in 24 hours” line of crap. I have also ordered from IGE Before with similar results.. and no gold.
on August 25th, 2007 at 2:24 pm
Don’t go gamegoods…
Well brought 500g from gamegoods before logging off one night, since if it was 12 hours i’d have it when i wanted to use it the next day, cause log in and no g, so contacted them and blamed the payment provider, now a week after my order still no money, so canceled and waiting for refund.
on August 25th, 2007 at 7:34 pm
If everyone refused to use paypal far anything these companies would not be able to do this. Conflict resolution with normal credit card comapnies is much more weighted on the side of the consumer…
on August 26th, 2007 at 2:24 am
I ordered 2000g and went through the same spiel/ordeal as those mentioned above - but when I went to my Paypal account to file a complaint, there was a window with an apologetic message from the (IGE) owner, that also stated that instead of filing a charge back with Paypal, to consider allowing the owner to provide a full refund directly instead. So I cancelled out of the Paypal charge-back process and wrote an email to the owner with the provided e-mail address. I was fully refunded within 24 hours of that email. The owner responded that his company (IGE) did deliver twice, and that it appears that Blizzard had intervened both times. Bottom line is I did not receive the ordered gold from IGE, however, the IGE ownder did fully refund my Paypal account and also apologized for the inconvenience. Apparently Blizzard is throwing a wrench into IGE type operations.
on September 2nd, 2007 at 6:56 pm
Ordered gold from IGE.com. 38 hours later no delivery. IGE.com’s explanation is that they are “experiencing supply shortages” and that I “will be scheduled for priority delivery once we have the product in stock.”
What does that mean? Simple…
They don’t tell you they are out of stock so they can get your money instead of doing the RIGHT think and showing that they are currently out of stock.

I quit FFXI and choose to sell the rest of my gil for money, BIG mistake, I sold to IGE.. and as of today have yet to see a penny for my Gil. I am owed over $700! I keep getting the run around emails that they have paid me already! Sounds alot like that bullshit they keep telling you gold/gil buyers.. even was told to write an email to cs@readyclickpay.com !! what a bunch of fucking assholes! they cant even provide me with a PayPal transaction ID!

I ordered 250 gold from MYMMOSHOP 5 days ago and have yet to recieve my order.. the “Live Help” 24/7 that they claim to have on thier site is completely false….when using this option you are just directed to another page where it sends them an email….anyone know how I can actually speak to a real person there? I have emailed them numerous times asking where my order is and just get replies thanking me for my patience without any explanation as to the delay…I emailed them this morning telling them that unless I recieve my order today I would be filing a complaint with Paypal…will let ya know what happens…I dont have much hope considering all above posts
on September 15th, 2007 at 10:53 am
update
filed a dispute with Paypal…..MYMMOSHOP then sent me an email saying they would arrange for a face to face delivery but that i needed to cancel the dispute with Paypal first ..that was at 6:04 pm and at 6:08 pm they esecalted it to a claim….now its in paypals hands…let ya know the outcome.
on September 15th, 2007 at 11:03 am
one other thing..i figured out that on thier site if you use the *live help* button..you then have to choose an option…..inquire about an existing order….place an order…sell them gold..etc…..ironically if you choose the “place an order * option..u are immediately connected to a live person….however if you choose the “inquire about an existing order” option….it directs you to send them an email and you cant speak to a live person…go figure……
So i chose the place an order option just so I could talk so someone live and of course that customer service rep told me she could do nothing to help me …claimed she didnt have access to the existing orders ….so I said ok but you can tell me how to speak to a live person who does have access to the existing orders ..again she told me she couldnt help me and I would have to send an email….when I told her that was ridiculous she was working for the company she proceeded to tell me how they had the best customer service department in the industry..LOL what a fucking joke…..A Customer Service Rep working for a company does NOT tell you “sorry I cant help you”. …these people are 100% scammers!

Ok so basically I ordered 500 gold from them. Had an issue with me accidently picking the wrong server. They corrected the issue no problem at all. Except! I never got my gold. Got a lovely peice of mail saying, we sent you the mail in game please verify you got it. I didn’t get jack. So I contacted them and they said. Well says here that you received it, but we will send it again. Ok great. 48 hours later I emailed them saying i still haven’t received anything. Their email back was we verified we sent it 3 hours ago. amazing. exactly 1 hour before i sent an email about it? Screw it. I’m having paypal deal with these morons. Get my money back and hopefully get it from someone else that is actually reliable. What happened to the days when you would get the money within an hour without any issues.
on September 27th, 2007 at 9:57 am
FYI - those of you buying gold are violating the ToS - at least for WoW.
Anyway, I just discovered two bogus oaypal charges to IGE.com and THSale.com. Both on the same day and both within minutes of each other. I have NEVER bought gold online. It’s far too easy to just farm it myself. However, these bogus charges have me worried b/c these two companies have STOLEN real money from me.
In my search to figure out what these companies are, I found this page. I am thinking maybe a bad add-on stole my paypal information or something. I know for a fact that I haven’t used my paypal account for ANYTHING in several months.
Thieves!!!
Reply:
Hi there Andy. I honestly doubt that it was ige or thsale.com that took your money. There are reports of identity thieves targeting wow players. For instance, a possible scenario would be for someone to steal your paypal credentials and then buying wow gold to sell for real money in the game; thus laundering the cash (or perhaps they just needed wow gold for their own chars).
You should change your paypal account-password and do a full virus/spyware scan.

I ordered from mymmoshop 2-3 weeks ago and haven’t received a gp since. They say they’ve sent it, promised me 20% increase, now it’s back to saying they will send the original amount. I’m cancelling my order and going with igolg.com. I talked to them on a chat and they do face to face on request. I might also look into itemgarden.
on October 6th, 2007 at 9:55 am
I am also one of those previous IGE customers who had been very happy with their service. It now appears they have dropped into the same tactic they are all using. It goes something like this:
1. Sell gold you don;t have
2. Take customers money
3. Don’t contact customer, dont do anything
4. Once you complain they tell you they already did a partial shipment.
5. You tell them you never got it
6. They say they will resolve it later
7. They again tell you they sent it (or part of it)
GOTO step 5 and repeat sequence
I filed a complaint against IGE yesterday. Now they tell me they won’t complete the order until I remove the complaint. Paypal does not recommend this since once you remove a complaint you can’t reopen it on the same transaction. So now I am at a stalement with them. I guess I will wait until they blink or the 20 days dispute time drops off. Either way, they have my money and I have less than half of the order.
If you must buy gold I would only buy it in very small quantities to reduce your financial risk. IGE has clearly gone over to the dark side and I would not recommend them to anyone..
on October 8th, 2007 at 5:13 pm
As another follow-up. It has been over 7 days now and I still have less than half of my order (guess I am lucky I got anything). What IGE did was to tell me that since I had a claim filed they would not complete the order. Sounds like a catch-22 to me. I played email tag with them for several days getting a good assortment of their various form letters, basically telling me I had to drop the dispute or I couldn’t have my gold. Seems strange since that was what the dispute was about.
Anyway, today IGE played their next card which was to escalate the claim with Paypal for resolution. Of course, since Paypal makes a nice hunk of change off of IGE did you think they were going to do anything to IGE? Nope, and they didn’t. They closed the dispute at IGE’s request and told me I was out of luck.
IGE still won’t send the gold saying I still have an active claim against them which isn’t true but it seems that is going to be their story for now. If I ever get the rest of the gold I will be shocked.
Lesson learned here.
on October 9th, 2007 at 10:13 pm
A final follow-up. After 10 days of baggering, begging, pleading and threatening IGE finally completed my order.
I doubt I will ever do business with them again, but if you are persistent sometimes they do come through. It shouldn’t take this kind of effort to get any company to complete a transaction, but maybe that is the nature of this business now. Clearly, IGE is not the only company who is having problems meeting their customer expectations.
Good luck to all of you.
Over and out.

Itemrate.com ripped me off.
I bought Everquest platinum, paid with my debit card (over paypal), and have never recieved the platinum.
I’ve e-mailed twice and they never replied.
So basically the stole ten dollars from me.
on October 14th, 2007 at 6:31 pm
I bought for the thrid time from IGE 500 gold. I did it at the end of a night and didn’t go on the next day due to health issues I have. I log on today and no gold, but I got an email saying my order was filled. I emailed them since I can’t seem to find their live chat and waiting for an answer. I didn’t get a partial or anything, just an email saying it was filled. Anyone else have this happen and how did you fix it? It’s you’re word against theirs right? I didn’t get anything but the email saying your order is filled.
on October 17th, 2007 at 3:40 pm
I ordered from Brogame 18 days ago and have yet to see a single gold (yet they tell me each and every day how I am their highest priority and that it will be delivered in 12 hours). When a refund is requested they say their refund person is not around (try again in 6 hours….when you try again in 6 hours…they are not available try again in a few hours and on and on)…
Stay away from Brogame or lose your money.
I have dealt with IGE in the past (and recently). While they took awhile to fill my order (10 days) and they claimed delivery when I had received none, when I complained about it they fixed the situation in a few days and compensated me for my time. I would suggest them to anyone looking to buy gold as the best alternative of the choices available (I should have taken my own advise here). IGE did not lie to me, nor did they give me the run around. While I was disappointed with them in the last transaction they did come through in the end (unlike their competition).
on November 12th, 2007 at 1:48 pm
Here’s my IGE story. Had ordered from them a few times in the past and had no problems. I’d usually have full delivery in 30-40min after purchase. But that was in the RMT glory days when SE did very little to stop them and they had gil coming out their ears. Now times are different.
So I made and order early last month. After two weeks of “we don’t have the gil” delays (even though they were still advertising they could sell up to 50M on our server) I check my order status and it says that it was delivered. Well SE capped the delivery box at 1M max at a time so I know that can’t be true.
I check my db and it’s empty. I contact IGE and they said that it was delivered in full. I go round and round with customer support and the best thing they can tell me is to check my db… durrr! They finally say that they’ll redeliver at no cost to me, great.
Two more weeks go by and still no gil. I keep getting the “check your delivery box” macro from customer support. Then they say that they “confirmed” that delivery was made and they can do nothing for me. They said they have a screenshot to prove it but of course they can’t show it to me.
So currently it’s in PayPal dispute. They replied saying:
Dear —– —–,
After a thorough investigation of the issue, we verified that we indeed made the delivery to your character through your mog house as supported by the screen shot that we took of the in-game transaction. We are sorry to hear about your refund request. We have processed your refund, please check your Paypal account for confirmation. If your payment was made using a credit card it may take up to 5 business days for the funds to be back on your card. I hope we get the chance to do business again. For other queries please email us at any time. Thank you for your support.
Well it wasn’t on CC and it’s been 5 days and still haven’t gotten my refund. Probably gonna have to step it up to a claim before they’ll make good. If SE didn’t cap the db at 1M I could believe that the 3M was intercepted, but I think that IGE is just ripping people off.
Times are tough for RMT on FFXI, SE had finally started going after them in the last year. I’m sure IGE knows that since they’re based in Hong Kong there’s not much people can do against them so they take their chances. So the lesson here is don’t buy from IGE.
I did buy from egrich.com and was satisfied. I got kinda nervous went my order status on the site kept saying “Awaiting payment” even after like 12 hours. I got a call the next day from them to confirm the order, the girl didn’t speak English well but she sounded hot so it was ok.
I got an email after another day saying that I needed to contact live chat and that they would hold my stock for 2 hours. Well it was 2 & 1/2 when I got home to check my email but I contacted chat and they told me to log on.
Got online and had to wait about 30 minutes until their mule logged on. He wasn’t in the city where the website said he’d be but he sent my gil in multiple shipments (due to cap) to my db, confirming I got it after each one. So if you’re looking for an alternative to the big guys I’d give egrich a try, I haven’t seen much negativity posted about them.

I have ordered from IGE many times in the past and they always delivered. However, I recently ordered some gold for WoW and it has been 2 weeks wiith no delivery. Their live support is down so I tried the email. Got a response within 10 mins stating they had a sudden huge bulk of orders and that they didn’t have the gold to meet it. They would refund my money if I want or I can wait until they get the gold on that server.

videogamegold.com - Have delivered 3 times now, did have to wait 10 days for one delivery but i’ve always got it in the end, good prices etc.
Would recommend them if you’re looking for someone pretty reliable, and aren’t in a rush

well if you think swagvault is trustworthy take a look at my conversation with one of their fucking gook live chat people and you tell me
Please wait for a site operator to respond.
All operators are currently assisting others. Thanks for your patience. An operator will be with you shortly.*twiddles thumbs*
All operators are currently assisting others. Thanks for your patience. An operator will be with you shortly.*thinks* hmmm sure is taking a long time
(some time later)
You are now chatting with ‘Ashley’
Ashley: Hello
Bella: hi do you havee to send pictures of your credit cards to swag vault?
Ashley: ..
(what a well conducted response)
Ashley: you don’t want to send the verification pics to us,right?
(well percieved Ashley you are indeed a clever man/woman)
Bella: no i’m asking if that’s your policy
Ashley: yea,we need the pics to confirm for your order
(ORLY)
Bella: why seeing as i didn’t give you my credit card details in the first place?
Bella: i payed using google checkout becuse of a scam like this happening
(5minutes later)
Ashley: we promise that all we need them is to ensure your payment infor safe and avoid others abuse your cc.and don’t need them to do anything else
(oh well that sounds convincing wait lemme just grap my digital camera…heyyyyyy you just wait a minute)
Bella: why a credit card though why not something that can’t be frauded?
Bella: such as a passport?
Ashley: Bella,we need 2 pics, one is cc,and the other is your id,such as passport,or drive license,or the identification card
(ahhhhh ok it’s 2 pictures now that’s safer hell why don’t i fax you the deed to my house)
Bella: so i can cover up the incriminating numbers on my credit card and leave only the name showing on the credit card and that would be acceptable?
Ashley: you should show the last 4 digits on the cc also
(*sigh*
Bella: but you have no idea what credit card i payed with (because i used a safer method of payment) you don’t exactly know who i am so what purpose would showing you that information serve? other than in my oppinion to get conned
(10minutes later)
Bella: ?
(a further 5 minutes later)
Bella: hello ashley are you there?
(hmm she must be trying to find the right page in the response manual)
Ashley: we need the payer’s cc and infor,so the pics are enough
(this argument is certainly going somewhere)
Ashley: plz send them to us,then could arrange your order,ok?
Bella: no Ashely because this sounds like what we English people call a scam, you have never seen my credit card details so you couldn’t possibly verify you don’t know my name either so you can see the circle we seem to be going round and round in here can’t you?
(getting a bit rude here)
Ashley: but we have the order infor, and we should confirm the payer’s infor.plz do as we told
Bella: do you mean we or your?
Ashley: of couse our company.due to you ordered from us,didn’t you?
Bella: you have the infor you tell me…

ordered from ige on the 3rd, been 6 days no sign of delivery. emailed them and they said stock problems but i could have it sent to my mailbox instead of face-to-face (why would it be better in mailbox if its a STOCK problem they still wouldnt be able to dleiver that way surely?) replied that i would prefer to have it done face to face and havent heard anything since. their website is now offline. will try again in 12 hours and if no luck i’m filing a dispute with paypal.
on February 8th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
Unbelievable, you would think after all these complaints something
would’ve been settled by now. I agree with a couple people up here about
IGE.com. However, I purchased my gold in guildwars considering,
yeah…I work for living, I can’t necessarely sit on my ass all day and
stare at a computer screen. On the day of my delivery, I found it strange
that I was waiting for aproximately 4 hours in game. I recieved nothing,
so I decided yeah ok, it’s time to do something else then stare into
space at a screen. The minute I sign off, I go visit my girlfriend at her
house, I check my e-mails and BAM, “Sorry we just missed you.”
…
ok?
I was just online for 4 hours…what the hell were you people doing that
entire time? Creating the gold out of HTML scripting and artificial
intelligence? I’ll give them a day or two, if nothing comes of it then the
order is here by known as cancelled. I was really hoping to actually get
some sleep because usually I stay up until around 5AM farming for gold
with a couple friends. I guess it’s back to sleep deprivation though…
on March 29th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
Ok to be honest I have never bought gold from any site but I have alook all most each day. I have found a really cheap one but I don’t know if I will get my gold of now. Then again I think that the wholde idea of selling god just ruins the games we play. I would prefer to do it the 100% legal way of maybe buying a leveling or gold guide from professional companys. I would buy gold or Power Leveling if I know it was legal, I know it will wor and I know if i can trust them to do it again with other games. If I were to buy gold what so ever I wouldmake sure that the game makers company A.K.A. Blizzard had acceoted the selling, or if it was being sold by the company it’s self.
