Buy World of Warcraft Gold
A gold buying update. Many (all?) sellers have trouble delivering gold right now. This is because blizzard has issued a patch that delays all in game gold-transfers up to one hour. It makes it possible for Blizzard to intercept and confiscate gold.
Due to this, many deliveries are delayed and has to be resent. Many many gold buyers are right now complaining because they believe they have been frauded; that isnt neccessarily the case. Every serious company that delivers gold are trying their absolutly maximum to deliver their gold even if its costing them expensive extra gold for every order at this moment.
It is very probable that in the future gold deliveries will be done via some other means. So, if you bought world of warcraft gold in the last week or soo, please dont get all to worked up; it is a temporary problem that will be resolved!

Sorry, but you are either gullible or in cahoots with them. Firstly, I didn’t purchase Gold from these “reputable” companies, I purchased eve-online ISK. Given that Blizzard’s patch didn’t affect Eve-Online what are your reasons now?
I would like to point out that even if you were correct (and you’re not), that it still shouldn’t take over 10 days to deliver something claimed to be deliverable within 1-12 hours!

I have this problem also. i purchased gold through ige and wowvip and its been a week and still no delivery. Now they claim to have sent it on the 22nd (i placed the order on the 14th) i still have nothing. They have such awful customer service and delivery times.

I have had good experience with WOWGold-USA in the past. I had placed an order going on three days now still nothing. I did get a message in the mail through WOW indicating they have to COD items to me via sending mineral spring water, which I did still nothing. Saw, user online who I sent items to they never respond. I have sent emails, tried live help no response. I can understand if company’s run out or are having issues. My problem is lack of customer service. This company promotes good customer service, good help system and state they have people staffed 24/7. But, not to respond to support/order requests is terrible.
What a Joke. I would never use WOWgold-usa.com again!!! Stay Away

I ordered 100 gold from Swag vault and they told me it had been delivered, well when i went to their customer service they said that if i didn’t receive it that Blizzard had taken it because i took too long to check my mail for it and that there was nothing they could do. Don’t ever order from Swag vault, they take forever and have lousy customer service.

for all the people praising http://www.videogamegold…i got something to tell YOU…i ordered gold from them, but they made me wait 2 DAYS…2 FUCKING DAYS, and by the time they delivered it….Blizzard must have snatched it. I mean hell, how is someone, ANYONE supposed to wait around 2 days to get gold, when its promised to them in a manner of a few hours? They could have at least told me up front before i ordered, instead of telling me “Oh we have plenty of Stock. Order right away”, that it would take longer than expected. Totally Pissed me off. You have no idea. SOOO I would advise all of you to be careful, even with Video Game Gold, because that was a sign to me that, now with this Different WOW Mailing Service they are about to go under, just like all the other companies here mentioned…nuff said.
P.S. THEY SHOULD try trading the gold ingame, maybe like at a meeting place, but they will never listen

I only buy form http://www.mogs.com, they are the only US based operation and do not lie about their delivery times and inventory. Oh and I have made a purchase of 2k gold two days ago and received all of it.. none banned, none not delivered.. I think the owner of this site should be promoting sites like Mogs more than these guys that consistently get complaints

This thing with the patch Blizzard put out for WoW really sucks!! Just allows companys to make excuses for y the gold isn’t there. The gold has been taken bla… thats what you here fuking everytime!!! Just a big rip off.
They should take more security measures then!! If they all ways use th same charas to send gold course bilzzard will know and delete the gold. Putting up prices for NOTHING!!!! Look at all the prices for wow gold!! Ist crazy!!! I ordered 3 times at different companies ige, swagvault and from http://www.gamegoods.co.uk. The only time i got my gold was from the last one - game goods took lik a day for my 200 and it was like loads more expensive but atleasst i got it!! DAMM all these gold sellers!! Wish i diddn’t need all this freakin gold!!!!!!! AHHHH!!

Hoorah for Blizzard.
There is no such thing as a “reputable” gold-buying company.
Every single thing about the power-leveling and gold purchasing rackets is completely loathesome. That’s why it’s explicitely against the service agreement every player agrees to when they sign on.
Who do you think is getting the money, and how much do you think the people who are doing the actual “powerleveling” to make the gold are making? This is a sweatshop industry, plain and simple. If you wouldn’t buy clothes made in a sweatshop, you shouldn’t buy WoW gold. If you *would* … well, that explains it.
WoW is a GAME. You play the game, you get gold — it just happens. You can’t avoid it!! If you haven’t earned it, you don’t deserve it.

Any Update on this? I’ve seen a huge rise in gold prices since it happened. (Roughly 80%?)

I buy from wowko.com and i have always got the gold from them they are not the cheapest but they keep ther promises

Moolytte,
WoW is a game that was designed to played how people enjoy playing it. Blizzard is crazy to think they can dictate how a person must play the game. It defeats the whole purpose of having open ended content. If I want to play by buying gold then so be it. If you want to get wow gold by your using your free time then great!

Ordered twice from Peons4hire.com - once for 1000, another for 200. Received 650, nothing more. - SCAM! - Do not order from Peons4hire unless you want to throw your money away.

Moolytte,
If you want a cause to take on; how about how many people in North America are homeless and jobless, or living below the poverty line. How many people in this country pump your gas, serve your food, gather your garbage, and can’t afford to even feed their families on what they make? Sure, they may make more then - say - someone sewing clothing in Taiwan, but the standard of living in North America is a heck-of-a-lot higher here then it is there.
Before you get all high and mighty, maybe you should sell your computer, scrap your internet connection and use that money to feed a starving family, or donate to an organization. You don’t NEED the internet, like gold buyers don’t NEED gold. It’s not about need, it’s about want.
Better still, if you play WoW (and you’re here, so I’ll assume you do) why not stop playing and take that monthly payment and adopt a child overseas so they don’t need to take a job like you mentioned, in order to survive.
Stop pointing fingers at other people. If buyers want to spend their money buying gold from gold buyers, then fine. If they didn’t these people who you are trying to save from oppression would be out of a job. I’m sure they would be really thankful for that!
You don’t know who gets what percent of the money from the buying companies over-seas either. I’m sure the people that do farming are happy to have the money that they DO have, and that they are not living on the streets.
Gold buying is cheating. Who cares? If you don’t like it, don’t do it, but leave other people alone. Go away and take your hypocritical champion of causes’ attitude with you.
Reply from Jamie:
Our official pose here on buywowgold on this issue is that we try to recommend services that have a humane workers policy. And ofcourse, nobody in these countries are forced to take a job a as a gold miner, its probably a better, healthier and easier job than being a miner, farmer or industrial worker.

I ordered from WOWGold-USA over a month ago. I did their process of sending the COD with the item they requested. I never received anything and e-mailed several times and they just kept telling me I”m doing it wrong which is bullshit. I get an e-mail from them today (the month later) stating my order is complete and hope I enjoyed my purchase. WTF ever!

@ Jessifruit
Thank you!! That was the kind of post that was long needed. People are constantly moaning about players buying gold. If you are so against it, how come you are on this site? how did you find it?!^^
I buy a little WoW Gold because, I am one of those people who have a decent job, and a real life. I don’t have time to play and farm my gold. And I am proud to be a WoW player with a life and attitude.
Just to have a say on this topic:I think the Gold companies are having a hard time at the moment. They can’t do anything about Blizards patch. I mean you can either keep prices low and tell the customers tough luck if you get scamed by Blizzard like http://www.swagvalut.com does (only got my gold 1 out of 3 times!!). Other companies with higher prices like Itemgarden.com or http://www.gamegoods.co.uk, have higher prices and take longer, but they have a more or less decent customer service and in most cases send the gold again if Blizzard steals it.
I think most companies out side of China can be trusted, maybe not blindly but decently. Its a rough business and more complicated than many peole think, especially with Blizzard on the watch…

Hoorah for Blizzard again! With the latest patch the “safe auction house delivery” we’ve been continuously spammed about can also be intercepted. We can only hope the sweatshop gold farming industry will dwindle as they find fewer and fewer ways to deliver their “product.”

This is going to be a test for all gold selling sites. Those that are “true to their word” will stand out and many will be black listed.
itemrate.com is already on mine. Peons4hire.com might soon be as well, which disappoints me really. I ordered from them actually the day before patch day I received my gold within a few hours. I however ordered from them again 2 days afterwards and have not received a single copper. They say that my gold was taken from Blizzard and want me to try and get it back. However, GMs can’t help me if I don’t have a name to say where I received the gold from. I’ve emailed them twice about it and no answer. It wasn’t until I threatened to go through paypal to get my money back that they responded to my emails.
This is the email I received:
————
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing peons4hire.com.
We are sorry for your missing gold. Recently Blizzard updated its mail system so that all of the mails for gold transfer to another account will arrive in one hour. We are afraid that Blizzard may have intercepted the mail we sent to you. One hour is enough for Blizzard to inspect the mails and Blizzard will remove the gold from those mails immediately. Both of us should be aware that it is not the fault of your or ours, however, we are willing to offer some kind of compensation for our loyal customers.
But since the supply market now is fluctuant, the purchasing price has been doubled. That doesn’t mean we will ignore the problem, we will resolve the problem in 15 days when the purchasing price drops down. Your kindly understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.
We are expecting your reply. If you have any questions please contact us asap.
Best regards
Ann
We work for you.

Two weeks for my order to POSSIBLY be filled? I don’t think so. I told them in my response I MIGHT wait a week, but not two. I also stated that if they’re having problems with mailing gold, why don’t they just meet me somewhere and hand deliver it? I’ll be awaiting their response.
on October 7th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
Peons4hire DID come through with my order, but they took quite a long time to do so. It wasn’t until I had opened a dispute with Paypal and stated I would escalate it tomorrow that one of their people finally contacted me and handed me the money in game.
So, perhaps Peons4hire isn’t entirely blacklisted in my book? Perhaps not, but I won’t be doing any business with them anytime soon.

i tried OOFAY.com, a friend told me they were good..well that friend was wrong i ordered gold from them almost 3weeks ago an havent received it..then i demanded a refund in which they said they would..an i still havent gotten either *refund or gold*..IMO DO NOT BOTHER WITH OOFAY, terrible service!!
on March 26th, 2008 at 5:35 am
I tried oofay.com aswell. On their website it said they had delivered 35,000 gold to my server that day with between 5-55 min delivery time. I bought my gold 24 hours ago the website still says they delivered 35,000 gold with between 5-55 min delivery time. I cant get hold of their “customer service” anymore. Buy buy 8000 gold. I suggest if you get scammed just completely deny you had anything to do with the transaction to you bank. Say your card has never been given online. You get your coin back and they get blacklisted as fraudulant - which although it may not have gone down that way - they are.

on May 15th, 2008 at 12:59 am
why cant there be a website that only asks for ur character’s name, and comes into the game and gives you the gold? Thats the only way any of these websites will work.
