Been waiting for 2 days now for my gold, come on this is getting silly, wait on there support systeam 3 times today for about 45 mins and all 3 times it says agents are busy, try to call them and they are busy and it doesnt even give you enough time to leave a message and you e-mail them and you get no reply, i want the gold or my money back or im taking this further

We admit that we have had some issues over the past week and these were primarily caused by the installation of a new server and a surge in demand. We have since solved the issues and have increased staffing levels to ensure that we can provide the best standards of service within the industry. We are committed to this industry and will continue to do everything we can to offer the fastest delivery, the highest level of service and the best value WoW Gold on the market.

I only ordered 100 gold to see if they were any good at delivery but it’s already been almost a whole day… it’s only 100 gold! How will they cope if I order 5k?

I bought gold on Monday 21st and i still haven’t recieved it. I emailed Game Goods and i did get a quick response saying they didn’t know what had happened but they put my order through again. Again the time they specified for delivery has come and gone and still no gold. I emailed them again and have had no reply, I don’t mind waiting a little longer as long as i get what i paid for but really they shouldn’t put fast delivery 1-12h if there is a risk that they can’t hold up their end of the deal. People are already weiry about these kind of sites and situations like the above mentioned are doing Game Goods reputation no favours.

  12. Rexxar said,

    on May 24th, 2007 at 12:54 am

It’s now the next day and still no gold and no reply to my email.
As far as I’m concerned this company has failed to deliver as promised and won’t get my business in the future.

I’m just glad I only tried them out with a small order. If the gold isn’t there by the time I get home from work today I’ll get paypal involved.

  13. Miss D said,

    on May 24th, 2007 at 6:41 pm

I recieved my gold late last night with a 10% increase. I think what we have to remember when purchasing gold from Game Goods is there is a 99% chance you wont get it in the 1-12 hour period that they state on their website.
Game Goods should seriously concider changing the delivery time on their site or at least warn people that it could be late. Not only would that stop all these complaints that people are making which is doing their rep no favours it would give the customer some reasurance that their delivery is coming and they are not being ripped off.

  14. Rexxar said,

    on May 24th, 2007 at 11:46 pm

Some wow gold sites use a system that tells the customer if the gold is in stock or not, so then you ‘pre-order’ the gold, giving them a good couple of days to get it together for you.

Maybe gamegoods should consider using this type of system?

Either way, as Miss D says, the undelivered promises on their website aren’t helping them to keep customers.

  15. Bobby Swift said,

    on May 25th, 2007 at 4:27 am

The delivery statistics that we state on our website are absolutely correct when you take into account all orders and all servere. I do not think that it is either rational or fair to write ‘there is a 99% chance you wont get it in th 1-12 hours period’ as the experience you have had does not equate to a statistically relevant test.

If you were to do a systematic test of all our servers and our average delivery times then you would see that the claims made on our website are correct.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience any of our customers have but I assure you that we are currently the best value site in the industry and have the fastest average delivery times, the best customer support and are continually optimising our operations to become quicker, better and cheaper.

  16. Miss D said,

    on May 25th, 2007 at 7:46 am

Bobby i apologize 99% was a bit unfair. I was just trying to get the point across that I don’t know how many people buy gold from you. Nor did i think of that when making my purchase i as the customer I go by the guarantee on your site which in my case and others you failed to deliver after all you need earn customers trust and first impressions in cases like these in regards to service are important. Percentage aside it would be good if you could state on your website that there is a chance of late delivery due to high demand because it would not only have given me reassurance but I’m sure given the other customers that purchased gold which was late feel better too.

To me it wasn’t really how long i had to wait it was more the thought that I’d been ripped off (which i wasn’t). Again if I’d known before hand there was a chance that the 1-12h delivery wasn’t in full effect due to high demand then I’d not have been bothered by the late delivery time i would have been prepared for it.

Overall though in my case Game Goods did in fact deliver the gold as stated in my second reply and at a good price too. I did get good customer service from them via emails so overall I’d would for sure recommend them to others.

I placed 2 orders, One this morning but I had to contact them after not receiving a confirmation email. They said it was my fault as I had used a different email in paypal and on the site. I placed an order yesterday using the same method and that went ok so i think they were passing the buck. The order was for just 100g and it has now been delivered.

The order i placed yesterday (2pm gmt 30th may) still hasnt been delivered ive been on live support 4 times and they keep telling me that hellfire is a busy realm and they are working on it. I only ordered 100 to see how they are. Its funny as everyone in the warcraft community tell me hellfire is quiet. They sent me an email this afternoon apologising and telling me they will send me 105 as an apology.

I think this is a case of they got very popular very quickly and they just cant cope.

Ive got a discussion going on over at my site. if you guys want to join in. I hope you all get what you ordered. Cheers.

I purchased 1000g on June 13th and been waiting for 11 days now.. I keep getting the usually response of that we are really behind so just wait a bit longer.. couple more days I used the live support and got a rep. named Amanda and she blew me off twice after waiting over half hour each time just to get help. I dont think I will see the money and will have to take this up with paypal to get my money back.. I recommend not purchasing gold from this seller.

I ordered some Eve-online ISK from gamegoods 6 days ago, and still dont have it, their live support is a joke, and any queries, complaints, random messages are met with the same automated response.

their customer support is a disgrace.

i gave them an ultimatum of deliver my isk or return my money, if not i will be suing them for fraud, guess what? i go the same automated response.

    As stated 2 comments above..

I am now at 15 days.. Been receiving emails saying that they have my gold and will be delivered in few hours… wait a whole day and nothing. They did it again saying they are sorry and will deliver it in another few hours.. another day goes by. I emailed again saying 15 days is a bit long to send 1k gold after I did pay about $106.40. The problem now is they are asking me what my tracking number is all over again like they never seen my order before. They already had to stick it in the system twice and to have them do this to me again!

Please if your reading this forum do not buy from them.

Just thought i’d add my own experiences with gamegoods.

A month or so ago I put in an order for 100G on a fairly busy european server. I recieved my order within 6 hours.

Then yesterday, at about 8pm, i ordered slighty more (things are getting more expensive lol). The 500G was in my mail when I logged on this morning.

I understand that both of these are relitivley small orders, but I have had no problems with them whatsoever and would use them again if I need to.

I ordered 100g about 2 weeks ago; it took 3 days to arrive! I contacted them after 24hours asking where my gold was and they said its in queue, I then contacted them after 48hrs and they asked me for ref etc..

I won’t be buying off them until they can give some accurate delivery times so you don’t feel you’ve been scammed!

On 6/22/07 at about 11pm PST I made a purchase of Gold for the World Of Warcraft game on the site.

I was emailed confirming that the order has been received. According to the site delivery should occur in 1-12 hours from confirmation of payment and the company operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

I received confirmation from Paypal at 11:17pm, I received confirmation of receipt from GameGoods at 2:06 am

The next evening having not found the gold available in my accounts mail, I used the on line chat, (It has never actually been on line.) leaving a message. I received a reply email titled “RE: After Hours Request (#6538-76565266-5780)” This email promised me “your order will be ready in aprox 24 hours and you will receive a 10% voucher for your next order, this will come in the form of coupon ”
I received the coupon but 48 hours later I still received no gold in game. I again contacted the vendor – by reply email, and was told in the email entitled “RE: Re: After Hours Request (#6538-76565266-5780)” the following “Please accept our apologies for this delay… we are doing everything possible to deliver your order as soon as possible… To show you that customer service is key to us, we will send you 10% more gold as a sign of goodwill.”

At this point I am now expecting 1100 gold, and my mood was vastly improved.

A week more passed and nothing arrived from Game Goods but email asking me to link to them on my website/blogs to get 10,000 gold free…

I would like to know where that is coming from when I have not gotten the gold I PAID for. On 6/31/2007 I emailed again trying to use live chat.. I received an identical response on July 1st at 2:16am titled “RE: After Hours Request (#6538-77052751-7773)” again promising me gold in 24 hours.

That 24 hours +18 more have passed and I am still out my $74.65 and I have not received either the 1000 gold ordered or the 1100 gold promised. At this point (July 2) I submitted a Non-Recipt Dispute to paypal.

It is now July 8, and gamegoods has yet to respond to any email from me or to the paypal dispute. I really do think that this site is a rip off.

I made an order of 5k Gold from Gamegoods. Now I’m a patient person and didn’t really expect it as soon as it was ordered because of the size of the order, but it has been three days now and no delivery.

I keep getting these crappy e-mails about “my order is still on there system” but not once have I received a partial payment or anythnig.

The Live help is a joke and the number for the number for their hotline doesn’t even have a ring tone…

I ordered several times from Gamegoods, at various times in the day, they always seem to deliver promptly, once i rang up to ask about a special offer they had and came through to an english guy so no worries there….are we using the same site people? all my mates use my discount voucher code too so i get 5% on what they order, so i don’t even have to buy my own gold now. I guess i’ll have to keep getting feedback from my mates but so far so good they’re making a lot of people happy, and waiting a little is still better than farming it yourself if u’ve got a real life as well as a virtual one.

    Ordered 500 G from gamegoods.

Waited 24 hours, sent an inquiry, was told I would have it in 4 hours.
Waited another 24 hours, sent another inquiry, was told I would have it in 24 hours.

Waited another 48 hours and was told nothing.

I then created a grievance with paypal and told gamegoods that I wanted a refund.

They claimed I would be getting a refund asap, well see.

Sadly if they managed expectations better and didnt sell what they didnt have or claimed something like delivery time of 3-5 days and then ACTUALLY delivered instead of continually lying to customers and sending formletters saying you will have your gold in 24 hours…

people would know what to expect and there wouldnt be any problems.

Gamegoods is poorly run and they flat out lied to me in emails multiple times. Stay away from this company

Ordered 1000G from Gamegoods. Got confirmation, TWICE, of payment being made from Mooneybookers. The money has been deducted from my VISA, yet, no gold… I have sent two mails to support which have both gone unanswered. I have also tried their “live support” function – where I haven’t gotten an answer in allmost two weeks now. I got confirmation of payment on July 3rd, and my order was also confirmed by Gamegoods on that same date. It doesn’t look like I’ll get the gold I payed for here, hopefully I can get my money back via Moneybookers.

As my first buy from gamegoods was succesful I made new buy for 2000G. It took 5 hours and I had all the gold, which is imo still quite nice time for delivery. Many people here having much worse experiences about gamegoods, so maybe it’s bit server dependent? Atleast it’s working for me and my server..

Was a first time buyer and the experience was just horrible. At first I waited 2 days for the gold to arrive. Getting in contact took 3 hours via online chat, and left several email only to confirm that they had received my payment. Was told of a gold shortage which I accepted. Ten days later still no gold, so I ask for a refund. I got back screen shots of the gold being delivered to my toon. Unfortunate I never received the gold. I did confirm the screenshots were authentic by comparing the names of toons in the chat window to toons all on my server. I blame blizzard for intercepting my in game mail. My advice, get your gold in a face to face transfer, and do not use the Moneybookers payment method as the only protect the merchant and don’t give a crap about the purchaser. Most companies and scammers hide behind Moneybookers policies of no charge backs…. So I am out of some money and no gold to show for it.

They are having problems with the changes to the internal e-mail, 1 hour delay. This is enough time for Blizz to intercept gold transfers. You should have got the newsletter detailing how it now works.

With all the problems and delays I had I’m still happy with these guys, they kept me informed all the way.

I’m coming into the 5th week of waiting now. Just been on live chat again, apparently I haven’t paid. Why then, do I still have my paypal receipt???

Fourth cum Fifth week after ordering I apparently haven’t paid, so they haven’t sent it. Livechat suggests they push it in the delivery department. I am being patient but its wearing dreadfully thin.

Third week after ordering – Restocking Turalyon. 10% discount for my patience.

Second week after ordering – Server in high demand. Fair enough.
First week of ordering – Installing new system. Fair enough.

Basically GameGoods, you shouldn’t be taking customers money unless you actually HAVE the gold to deliver. I know for a fact that you accept payments regardless of whether you actually have the funds available. You keep putting people off with bullshit untill you get the gold. I wander how big your back log of orders actually is?
